HI all,
it was proposed at the last SYRG meeting that the NOV applies for a name change from GB3YR.
It is proposed to change GB3YRs name to GB3NA and to remain operating as it does now unchanged excepting the name.
One reason for this name change is that NA has been around for 30 years and is associated with the region. GB3YR is a youthful 8 years and does not for as many people hold the same nostalgic value.
We look forward to your comments on this subject. _________________ ---------------------------------

I certainly agree with this suggestion, after all "NA" is a local Amateur Radio standard, a piece of local history even! _________________ With thanks.....
